Follow Up

25 Feb

So, as a follow up to my previous entry, I should like to say that the seemingly inescapable Program which is our culture, has one important distinction: it is based on using up non-renewable resources. Therefore, it will fail. Eventually. It is a mathematical certainty.

“But this ship can’t sink!” “She’s made of iron, sir! I assure you, she can. And she will. It is only a matter of time.”

Of course, in a utopia, ideally (yes, that’s redundant) there is no such thing as a non-renewable resource. All resources should be renewable. This will, obviously, eliminate many of the problems inherant in today’s world. That is all.
