Being humble *isn’t* good. I never understood the whole humble concept. Why should a person make an effort to hide or downplay their capabilities? It’s a good thing to project self-confidence and to feel proud of one’s accomplishments. Why people think that implies a penchant for unnecessarily flaunting achievements at irrelevent or inappropriate times is beyond me. Lack of humbleness does not equal arrogance. So called humble people probably label self-confidence as arrogance in an effort to avoid confronting their own agency. These people probably either have very low self-esteem coupled with an unrealistic sense of entitlement, or they all believe in God, and pray for change instead of making it.

See, that’s the best answer ever, I should have interviewed you for my Div III cause it would have fit right in.
People shouldn’t hide or downplay their capabilities and assets. Really, I think it’s harmful when they do. Lack of humbleness isn’t arrogance, and neither is honesty.

Aww, no touching? I like touching! And yeah, he should get in touch with me before I graduate, that’d be cool.
And yeah, the Indigo Girls are good. Especially this song. I love this song.
